max_bones
Maxium number of bones and bone weights assigned to a single vertex for bones
animated models. If an imported FBX model contains more bones per vertex than
the number given here, the most significant bones are used and the less significant
are discarded.
Range:
1 .. 4 (default
4)
Type:
var
Edition:
A7 P (lower
editions only use the most significant bone per vertex)
Remarks:
- The more bones per vertex are used, the smoother is the animation, but
the more CPU power is required. This can affect the
frame rate in levels with a lot of multiple-bones-animated models.
- The MED animation editor only supports one bone per vertex. Models with
multiple bones per vertex can be imported from FBX files, but their animation
can not be edited in MED.
- This variable must be set before loading the level.
Example:
max_bones = 1; // switch off bones weights
